In Loving Memory of Our Brother and Friend, Ché Barnes

Ché will be missed by many. He passed away on October 29, 2009, while leading a Coast Guard search and rescue mission. He died doing what he loved – flying. Ever since his early days growing up on the farm, Ché had aspirations of flight and before he even had his driver’s license, he was in the air.
Ché was a wonderful and caring person who touched the lives of all who met him. He sincerely loved engaging others in conversation and pondering life’s bigger questions. He was a loving uncle, brother, friend, son and partner. We are glad to have had the opportunity to know him. We will miss him very much. |
