About the producer
In 1910, Henry Van Groningen Sr. left the Netherlands for America, first farming in Minnesota before settling in California. By 1929, he had moved his family to Ripon, where he and his four sons expanded into row crops by 1939. Henry’s four grandsons — Robert, Dan, John, and Marvin — returned from military service ready to join the family business, each bringing their own talents. Now in its fourth generation, Henry’s great-grandchildren Jason, Bryan, Ryan, and Paul continue the Van Groningen tradition.
Over a century later, the Van Groningen name has become synonymous with their beloved “Pamper’d Pumpkins”. Pamper’d Farms reflects the same attention to detail that Henry Sr. brought from the Netherlands, proving that some family traditions only get better with time.
