Noodles With Herbed Carrots

8ounces egg noodles1/3cup chopped fresh parsley
3tablespoons butter3/4teaspoons dried rubbed sage
1-1/2cups shredded carrots1/2teaspoon EACH salt and pepper


Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. In the same pot, melt butter over low heat. Add carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 3-4 minutes. Stir in parsley, sage, salt & pepper. Add noodles; toss to coat. Serves 4. (318 cals.; 12 g. fat; 9 g. prot.)
