Bobby Persson, Leo Schaltz, and Selim Adira founded BonBon in 2017 out of a shared homesickness for the candy of their native Sweden. Their first shop opened on the Lower East Side in Manhattan in 2018. Everything is imported from Sweden, which lets the founders keep an eye on quality at both ends.
