About the producer
In the mountains of Southern California, Barbara Squier looked at the grocery store shelves and saw a problem that needed solving. As a nutritionist, she watched families fill their carts with sugar-heavy treats, knowing there had to be a better way. With her husband Fred by her side, Barbara opened Julian Bakery in the small mountain town of Julian, determined to create wholesome alternatives using only the finest ingredients.
Barbara's kitchen became her laboratory, where organic whole grains, fresh eggs, and quality proteins transformed into low-carb, nutrient-dense products. When her son, Heath, joined the family business in 2009, he brought his knowledge of living a Paleo lifestyle to the business.
Today, Julian Bakery continues Barbara's original mission, proving that healthy food doesn't have to sacrifice taste or quality.
