These free-range chicken drumsticks are a flavorful and versatile option for easy weeknight meals, grilling, roasting, or meal prep. Richer tasting meat comes from chickens raised on a vegetarian diet with plenty of exercise and freedom to roam. Chickens are fed a diet of 65% corn, 30% soybean meal, and 5% vitamins and minerals.

About the producer
The Pitman family has been raising poultry in California since 1954, when Don Pitman started with free-range turkeys and chickens. His son Rick carried on the work and named the birds after his wife, Mary. Today, David and Ben Pitman, the third generation, run the operation, having learned from Rick the same way Rick learned it from Don.
The birds are raised without antibiotics, added hormones, or preservatives. Mary’s was the first poultry producer verified by the Non-GMO Project, and its free-range organic, air-chilled chickens have room to move and a diet without chemical stimulators. Raised the old-fashioned way, the Pitmans raise chickens they would feed their own family.
