About the producer
Mari Fassett was six when she started raiding the pantry for an afternoon snack, always some cereal, a scoop of peanut butter, and too much melted butter. That instinct for combination carried her through college, and by the time she graduated in 1993, the mixes she'd been making for friends and family had a following of their own. Marimix launched that year built on the same idea, crunch against chew, sweet against savory. The current lineup took Mari's research team 173 batches to settle on the right ratio of pretzels to whole grain squares and a perfect amount of glaze.
