About the producer
Kate Wyatt studied architecture before she became a painter, and that training still shows up in how she sees a leaf or a stem. She finds structure in the natural world and brings it back to the canvas, working primarily in botanical watercolors. When she started creating embroidery kits it was another way of translating her paintings into something people could make with their hands. Each kit is designed for any skill level, guiding stitchers through the same color combinations and layering that Kate works out first in watercolor.
