INGREDIENTS

1 pound okra, sliced lengthwise

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper, to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven or grill to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rub the okra with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.

Bake or grill for 30 minutes, or until beginning to golden.

Works well as a side dish or appetizer.
