Koel Thomae was visiting home on Australia's Sunshine Coast when she bought a tub of yoghurt with passion fruit purée and could not stop thinking about it. She was living in Colorado at the time, an Aussie transplant, and she went looking for someone who could help her recreate what she had tasted. Rob Graves, a fourth-generation dairy farmer, took one spoonful and agreed the yoghurt had to be made.

Noosa Australian-style yoghurt is built on whole milk, made fresh daily from cows on Rob's Colorado farm or on farms within 55 miles of it. The farm runs its own water treatment plant, cleaning and reusing the water from production to irrigate crops and returning the rest to the river.
