INGREDIENTS

1 pound okra, stems removed and sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Saute the onion and garlic for 2 minutes, or until the onion is beginning to soften.

Add the okra and cook 2-3 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper.
