Quick Sauteed Snap Peas

An easy, quick and delicious side dish that is great on its own or served over rice.

SERVING SIZE

4 as a side

INGREDIENTS

1 pound snap peas (snow peas would work too)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

salt and pepper, to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the ends from the snap peas, peeling the string down the side.

Heat the oil in a large saute pan over high heat. Add the snap peas and cook, 2-3 minutes, until it turns golden brown. Add the garlic and saute 30 seconds. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
