Steamboat Acres is a fifth and sixth generation family farm currently farmed by Tim, Laura, Michael and Tara Neuharth. They farm pears, cherries and grapes – some of the pear trees are over 100 years old! Pears ripen after they are harvested from the trees, so the Neuharth’s pick the pears when they are mature but green.
