For six generations, the Beeler family has been raising the bar for pork production. In 1846, Fred Beeler emigrated from Germany and settled in Madison County, Iowa. The work he did set their high standards for raising European “Red” Duroc pigs for years to come.
Today, the Beeler family still owns the original family farm that started it all. They stick to the simple, humane, and natural way of raising pork, just like Grandpa Fred. Their products proudly meet and exceed the USDA’s standard to be considered “minimally processed” which requires that nothing is done to the meat to alter the natural taste.
Not only do they have strict standards for the ingredients in their products, they also uphold humane treatment of their pigs, rejecting the use of gestation crates and letting their animals have space to roam free. You’ll never find antibiotics, growth promotants, ractopamine, nitrates or nitrites, MSG, phosphates or gluten in their products.
