Family owned and operated since 2013, Three Bluebirds Dishcloths melds authentic materials and original art to create a product that is both beautiful and practical. Co-founder and designer, Lasse Baldauf, grew up in Helsinki where nature was a big part of his childhood. Spending Scandinavian summers in the countryside, Lasse loved to draw the various birds that he would spot in the trees. His wife and Co-founder, Lynda, was born in Seattle and has always had a love for creative projects and a knack for developing entrepreneurial skills. When Lynda learned about Swedish Dishcloths, she was eager to bring this innovative product to the United States to inspire more earth-friendly lifestyles.
They print their Swedish Dishcloths using eco-friendly, safe, water-based inks. Their dishcloths combine sustainably forested wood pulp with organic cotton and are made in a Fair-Trade Certified facility. Through their partnership with 1% For The Planet, they restore 20 gallons of water to the Earth for every dishcloth that they sell. They also contribute to Business for Water Stewardship projects, supporting innovative water restoration projects and environmental action around the U.S.
