About the producer
Marin Cheese Company was founded by Reno Rossi and his uncle Ralph Salvemini in 1982. Having both worked for the trendsetting Monterey Cheese Company, the two had learned the foundational principles of quality, service and price. From their humble beginnings with one truck and no office, the company quickly grew, purchased a small warehouse and hired a delivery driver. Several expansions later, Reno purchased the other half of the company from his retiring uncle in 2005. Today, Marin Cheese is still proud to work with other independent retailers and support the type of small family businesses that make our local communities strong.
