About the producer

Alejandro Velez and Nikhil Arora were in a college class learning about how to grow mushrooms in a bucket filled with coffee grounds. They began to get curious about urban farming and how to reconnect families back to food. From thee, the idea of indoor garden kits became a reality. Each one of their indoor gardening kits is part of the #GrowOneGiveOne campaign – post a photo of what you grew, and they will donate a gardening kit + curriculum to an elementary school classroom of your choice!
