Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods® was founded in 1994 with the mission to bring healthy and delicious frozen food to everyone. Two heart surgeons, motivated by what they saw in their practice, set out to encourage sensible eating that was simple, tasty and convenient. They knew the ingredients had to be easy to prepare as well as nutritious, and that the food had to taste so good it would help people adopt better eating habits.
Now, over 25 years later, the next generation is at the helm, inspired by and true to the company’s original mission and values. Dr. Praeger’s is still an independent, family-owned and operated business grounded in using simple, whole ingredients to make great-tasting products families love. They are continually working to expand their range of products by adding new flavors and options that are as delicious to eat as they are easy to serve.
