This sauce, inspired by Mama Wong, features a fermented Fresno pepper mash, vinegar, and garlic for a very bright and flavorful hot sauce. Use it on everything from Woon noodle dishes and Mama’s Five Spice Chicken Wings to eggs, avocado toast, pizza, soups, tacos, and pretty much anything. Not certified organic.
About the producer
Mama Fong, born in Shanghai and raised in Los Angeles, became the heart of the family through her self-taught Chinese cooking. From stir-fried noodles to five-spice chicken wings, her dishes made her the star of family gatherings and her children's parties. When her son, Keegan, left for college, he realized his upbringing offered rare culinary treasures.
Missing his mother's cooking, Keegan and his sister, Julie, began hosting pop-ups in a Koreatown alley, taking vacation days from their full-time jobs to share Mama's beloved recipes. What started as family vacation projects has now evolved into Woon, bringing Mama Fong's cherished flavors to homes everywhere.
