About the producer
George and Charlie met on a beach volleyball court, and it turned out they both worked in the meat industry. What began as casual conversations between sets eventually became late-night brainstorming sessions about starting their own artisan cured meat company. Those early days meant loading up refrigerated vans and making deliveries one restaurant at a time, one box at a time, building relationships the old-fashioned way.
Eighteen years later, Zoe's Meats (named after George's youngest daughter) appears on hundreds of restaurant menus nationwide, and George and Charlie are bringing that same chef-quality approach to home cooks who want restaurant-worthy ingredients in their kitchens.
