Nona Lim grew up in Singapore, a tiny country with a thriving food culture that reflects the diversity of its citizens. She regularly visited the famous food stalls where hungry customers watch while their food is prepared right in front of them. Early in 2006, Nona was officially in business. Applying everything she learned from nutrition experts, Nona created healthy, clean foods free of potential allergens, additives, and preservatives. Nona is proud to have built her business in West Oakland near a hub of other artisan food manufacturers. She believes in actively contributing to the community through employing international and UC Berkeley interns. Nona Lim is the 2013 recipient of the Oakland Youth Friendly Business Award, takes pride in being a Certified Green Business with Alameda County, and is a committed Seafood Watch Partner. Nona Lim is also a current member and past President of the SF Professional Food Society.
