
This pasta has a mild Dijon mustard taste with some creaminess from the butter that is perfectly balanced with the broccoli.
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add in the pasta (if you are using fresh pasta, add the broccoli now. Otherwise, wait).
Meanwhile, in a food processor or blender, puree the butter and mustard. Mash up the garlic using the back of a spoon or a mortar and pestle. Add the parsley and garlic to the food processor with the mustard and butter and blend until combined. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
When there is about two minutes left of cooking time on the pasta, add in the broccoli and cook. Drain the pasta and broccoli, then transfer to a large skillet. Mix in the butter-mustard mixture and stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
