Dardimans' lemons are hand-picked exclusively from California orchards. California’s lemon crop is grown in the Coastal Region, from Santa Barbara all the way to San Diego. To achieve this shiny, sun-yellow citrus, farmers need ample sunlight, shining for more than 8 hours each day. The harvest is year-round, with the peak fruit coming in winter, and we only choose the best.
You can almost taste the sunlight in California lemons, and once these ripe, juicy fruits are naturally dehydrated, you get a gorgeous texture that’s far more stunning in color than the original. In each Dardiman lemon slice, there’s a full spectrum of yellow, ranging from deep, rich mustard to blonde, from flaxen to pineapple and lovely butter hues. Not certified organic.

About the producer
Founder Annie Babayan started making dried citrus slices at her kitchen table. With the unmatched quality and flavor of California citrus fruit, she was inspired to create a specialty item that turned these sun-soaked fruits into crunchy, nutritious and delightful slices. Dardimans selects each batch of fresh fruit from local growers and then thinly slices, dries and hand packs only the finest selection of crisps. Their process of slow dehydration is very different from those of freeze-drying and sun-drying, such that they are able to retain the fruit’s vitamins, colors and natural flavors without the use of added sugars or preservatives. After several seasons of fine-tuning, Dardimans California has perfected the craft of fine citrus snack creation.
