Made with Napa cabbage, a little bit of Daikon radish, and seasoned with red pepper powder to provide a spicy kick. Handmade and naturally fermented, it is a truly wholesome food, good for anyone with diet restrictions (gluten free) and it’s vegan.
What’s refreshing about Sinto kimchi is that it has less seasoning (less salt) and no fish sauce (instead, they use seaweed powder), yet the flavor is bold and complex through natural fermentation. The first thing you taste is the bright tanginess of kimchi lingering in your mouth and the crunchy texture of cabbage dictating your pallet. Pair it with fish, chicken, a sandwich, tofu, or salad. About the producer
Hyunjoo was born and grew up in South Korea and helped her grandmother run a small restaurant. Since moving to US, Hyunjoo went to culinary school and worked in restaurants, country clubs, and catering companies as a chef. In 2010, encouraged by friends and neighbors who love her Kimchi, Hyunjoo decided to build a food company around what she learned from her grandmother and what she knows best. Her Kimchi, Gochu Jang, and other Korean products are now available nationwide and used by many professional chefs.
